About ID Oracle

ID Oracle is a fake ID detection tool built for businesses that need to verify age and identity at the door. Bars, restaurants, nightclubs, liquor stores, cannabis dispensaries, event venues, and any age-restricted establishment can use ID Oracle to quickly scan a driver's license or state ID and cross-reference the extracted information against public records databases — all from a staff member's phone.

The app works by capturing an image of the ID or scanning its PDF417 barcode, then using AI vision to extract the holder's name, date of birth, and address. That data is checked against publicly available records to flag inconsistencies that suggest a fake or altered ID — such as a name and birth date that don't match any real person, or an age that doesn't line up with the record. Staff get an instant verified, possible-fake, or inconclusive result without needing specialized hardware or training.

Beyond single-user scanning, ID Oracle supports multi-location businesses with team management, shared scan pools, geofencing to ensure scans happen on-site, and trusted WiFi verification. Business owners can invite staff, allocate scan credits across locations, and enforce security policies that prevent off-site abuse. Operators can choose whether scan results are saved to history and can configure automatic retention for stored scan records.

ID Oracle is built and maintained by the ID Oracle team. We are committed to responsible use, user privacy, and giving frontline staff a fast, reliable tool to protect their business and their community.
